About Us
Welcome To DHCMILAS
The High Court of Delhi (Middle Income Group) Legal Aid Society or DHCMILAS, is a Society registered under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.
The Society has been formed pursuant to an initiative of the Hon’ble Supreme Court for widening the scope of legal aid services to cover middle income group. It was decided to form such societies in each High Court across the country and DHCMILAS is one such society for Hon’ble Delhi High Court.
DHCMILAS has been formed with an object to provide affordable legal services in the High Court related litigation, to the litigants with income below Rs 60,000/- per month or Rs 7,50,000/- per annum.
What We Do
Legal Aid Panels
Civil Laws
To deal with matters including suits, civil writs, arbitration petitions, civil revisions, appeals etcin Delhi High Court.
Criminal Law
To deal with matters including criminal writs, criminal revision petitions, bails petitions, criminal miscellaneous petitions and criminal appeals in Delhi High Court.
Service/Employment Law
To deal with matters including writs against the decisions of labour courts, Central Administrative Tribunal or any other matter pertaining to labour and services laws in Delhi High Court.
Family/Matrimonial Law
To deal with matters including civil suits in relation to matrimonial issues, petitions for grant of probate or letters of administration, revision petitions, appeals against the orders of the Family Courts, criminal writ petitions pertaining to Section 125 CrPC and Domestic Violence Act, petitions in relation to custody of minors etc or any other matter pertaining to family, custody guardianship and matrimonial laws in Delhi High Court.
